For Mamas looking to document their pregnancy and newborn baby, I always recommend inquiring in your second trimester. This ensures availability for your due date and ample time to plan for the sessions of your dreams!

Once you have reviewed all of the details and chosen me as your photographer, you will need to sign some digital paperwork and pay my retainer to secure your date! From there we can get to discussing all of the details to planning the session of your dreams!

As a CFP client, you get the red carpet treatment! Now that you've booked me, you will get my exclusive Client Experience Guide to make you feel 100% prepared for your session with me! We will discuss locations, times, and styling for the family. Mamas get access to my exclusive client closet full of beautiful, timeless gowns and we will work together to make sure the whole family coordinates. There's no detail too small, and we will discuss them all in order to bring your vision to life!

planning
The easy part! Your session is sure to be full of fun and snuggles with your precious little ones. Don't stress about repeated bouts of "SMILE!" aimed at your kiddos... I value those quiet little moments, holding one another, in order to capture authentic images of you and your family. Tickles and kisses will get those perfect smiles!

Following your session, I will get to work on your final gallery! Once completed, you will receive an email with a link to download your images, with options to purchase prints for your home.

My camera equipment is far too valuable to get wet, and quite frankly, so are you! I keep a close watch on the weather leading up to your session date. If it looks like bad weather is in the forecast, I will keep in touch with you about what we will do moving forward. Beach town weather can be unpredictable, I know. We won't make any decisions to reschedule until the day before/of your session and will work together to find a new date that works for everyone!
What do we do if it rains?

The sooner the better! I only book a certain number of sessions each month and the weekends always get snagged first. For expecting Mothers, booking during your second trimester is the best to ensure a date for your maternity AND newborn session based on your due date.
How far in advance should we book?

Probably the most asked question and biggest concern for Mamas! Have no fear, booking with me means choosing outfits will be a breeze. My client closet is full of beautiful gowns that match my photography style, and I can suggest some great boutiques should you choose to shop for a dress yourself! We will work closely together to pick coordinating options for every family member. My biggest piece of advice though? Keep it simple! Our focus is on you and your family. Simplicity when it comes to outfits ensures we can achieve that special focus.
What should we wear?

The most common feedback I get after every session is that I made it so EASY! Everyone walks into their session thinking they are awkward and have no clue what to do, but that is why you hired a professional! I will give plenty of direction in order to capture those authentic moments with your family. And your kids don't sit still? Ha! I'd be surprised if you said they did! Movement means we are having fun and that's what I strive for with every family. I'm an expert at wrangling those little ones, so sit back and enjoy the chaos - it's what makes your family special!
