My life can be split into two eras - before and after becoming a Mother. The after is my favorite and it is what brought me here! Motherhood gave me purpose. It brought me my precious son and my beautiful daughter. It has taught me patience, indescribable love, and an appreciation for the smallest of moments. Enter photography - the thing that allowed me to freeze those small moments so that I could remember them forever. What started as a hobby turned into a true gift for myself that I just knew I had to share with others!

get to know me
I live in Chesapeake, VA with my loving husband, Derek, and our beautiful family. I say I have two precious children, but really I have four - half of them are just of the dog variety! Chesapeake has always been home for me - I grew up here! It has been extra sentimental to enter this phase of my life around others that I grew up with, and even more special to get the chance to document their own journey through Motherhood!

When I am not behind the lens, I am mostly spending quality time with my little family! We love listening to music, going for walks around the neighborhood, and exploring outdoors. Our favorite adventures include going to the local farms, spending a day at the beach, or hitting up the nearest Chick-fil-A (aren't we all?!).

When I am not in Mom mode, you can mostly find me plotting my next home DIY project, or nose deep in my latest read, which is likely a romance or thriller! On a nice day, I love walks (and the occasional jog) outdoors while listening to my favorite podcasts, and after the kids' bedtime, it's all systems go for re-runs of my favorite shows, like Friends and The Office, while snuggling with my fur babies.
